On a beautiful afternoon in February, Chair The Love was honored to partner with Orange County Public Schools to donate 150 wheelchairs to students and schools in need. Some chairs will be used for transportation on school campuses, and some will be gifted to students with physical disabilities to make their lives at home and school far easier. “We want to thank Chair The Love for the generous donation of wheelchairs to Orange County Public Schools,” said Dr. Ian Gesundheit, Executive Director of Exceptional Student Education. “[The wheelchairs] will help schools have adequate transportation, especially in cases of emergency.”

It was a joy to work with OCPS to provide mobility to their students, and we look forward to connecting with more schools in the area as we expand our local outreach. You can view photos below from the delivery of the first 40 chairs!
